1. Data We Collect

• Account data: username, email, date of birth, password (bcrypt hashed)
• Verification data: government ID documents (stored outside web root, access restricted)
• Anonymous upload token: a random cookie set when you visit, used to track your anonymous uploads
• Content data: uploaded files, titles, descriptions, tags, optional display name
• Usage data: IP addresses (in server logs), browser, pages visited
• Cookies: session cookie, age-gate cookie, anonymous upload token cookie

2. Anonymous Uploads

When you upload without an account, we store a random token in your browser cookie to allow you to track your submission status. This token is not linked to your identity unless you choose to register. We retain the token server-side alongside your upload for moderation and legal compliance purposes.

• To operate and moderate the platform
• To verify age as required by law
• To respond to legal requests from law enforcement
• To track and enforce the terms of anonymous uploads
• To prevent abuse

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication, an age-gate cookie, and an anonymous upload tracking cookie. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the account lifetime plus 30 days. Age verification documents are retained for the minimum period required by law (typically 7 years for 2257 compliance). Anonymous upload tokens are retained as long as the associated content record exists.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with law enforcement when required by valid legal process, and with NCMEC as required by law.
